Happy 2 Year Anniversary!

Two years ago today, I married my best friend! It has been such a sweet journey since that day and I love him more than ever. I know he is going to be the best daddy ever to our little baby because I have already seen him be the best to Brady. I am so thankful that he is a part of me and Brady's lives. Happy Two Year Anniversary, Blake! I look forward to many more!

21 Weeks

How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 8 lbs...according to my last dr. appointment...YIKES!
Maternity clothes? slowly but surely
Stretch marks? Nothing new to note.
Sleep: Better...Sometimes I can make it all night without using the bathroom...I think everything has moved up and off my bladder (for a little while anyway)
Best moment this week: It was at 20 weeks when we found out baby is a boy! And seeing the 3D/4D ultrasound was amazing!
Movement: Definitely! I think baby boy knew we were at the Dixie Stampede...he kicked and flipped around so much while we were there!
Food cravings: Nothing in particular...just everything! Haha!
Gender: Boy!!!
Name: Still undecided but maybe narrowed down to 4 choices
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: I'm doing pretty great right now!
What I am looking forward to: Finishing painting the nursery...it's almost there!
Weekly Wisdom: Get out and do everything you can when you start feeling better!

We are Team Blue!

Here is a shot of his little foot!
He has his hand over his head...just like Brady! He is saying, "Enough with the pictures already!"
The technician told us he was frowning in this one. I guess he didn't like being poked on. =) He also was a little wiggle worm during the entire ultrasound. They weren't able to get pictures of everything they needed, so I go back next month for another try.

One of the best parts was sharing the news with Brady. He wanted a boy so much! He had actually already told us that if it was a boy, we should call him but if it was a girl, to not bother. LOL! Anyway, when we told him he was going to have a little brother, he started shouting, "YES! YES!" We are all thrilled and I am already looking forward to seeing the two of them grow up together!

19 weeks

How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: total gain of 3.5 lbs...I'm packing on the LB's now. Gotta lay off the junk food now that I can eat again.
Maternity clothes? bottoms for sure and although I've been wearing some tops more often I still don't think I look pregnant
Stretch marks? Nothing new to note.
Sleep: A little better actually...allergies are better and I can usually hold everything in overnight so I don't have to make a midnight potty break. I've noticed when I am flat on my back though, it feels like my heart is pounding in my belly.
Best moment this week: It will be tomorrow when we find out if baby is a boy or girl!
Movement: Yup...I've been in training this week which means sitting still in a chair all day so I am more aware of the tiniest little movements.
Food cravings: cupcakes...yeah, I know...gotta lay off those.
Gender: Still a surprise for one more day!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: feeling normal in general
What I am looking forward to: Our BIG ultrasound tomorrow of course!
Weekly Wisdom: Keep a journal of pregnancy milestones...I really wish I had recorded more about Brady's womb time so I could compare. You think you will remember this stuff forever but you don't!

Would your Mimi do this?

It is so nice to have a big backyard to do all these fun things in! (Although the slip-n-slide is off limits for me this summer.)

Pregnancy Update

I found this journal type idea on another blog and thought I would copy it. It seems like a great way to keep track of my pregnancy plus let others know how Baby Holland is coming along. I will try to update on a weekly basis...try...heehee!

How far along? 18 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 1.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? mostly just bottoms...some tank tops that fit a bit more snugly
Stretch marks? Nothing new to note.
Sleep: I can no longer sleep completely on my stomach and a pillow between my knees seems to even everything out. I usually need to take at least one potty break during the night.
Best moment this week: Feeling little flutters
Movement: Yes! Just this week! I can sometimes sort of tell where baby is. We were at a concert on Saturday and I felt the most movement during the music.
Food cravings: Fruit! Cheese Cubes! And one night I realized I had just eaten a bowl of ice cream followed by a big pickle...cliche I know but funny.
Gender: We find out in just one more week! I can't wait!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: Belly sleeping
What I am looking forward to: getting started on the nursery! We've chosen a paint color that we will use whether it's a boy or girl!
Weekly Wisdom: Get started on the nursery early because I can't imagine doing all the things we've been doing with a big 'ole belly!
